Design Books that I LOVE

Updated: Jul 17, 2020

I get asked often where I draw inspiration. Honestly it comes from many places, but early on it came from Blogs, one of those blogs was Design sponge, it is no longer offering new content however they do have a book which I still love to flip through on the regular. What I love of about this book is it is a little bit of everything. You have DIY projects, Flower workshops and before and after's to inspire you. It is an oldie but a goodie!

This was such a great resource and when they dropped there book I just had to have it!

If you would like to get your hands on a copy you can do so here:

The next book is from a popular TV personality Joanna Gains, from HGTV's fixer upper. I just loved this show. She has such a great eye for decor and the details. Very similar to a style that I personally have pursued in my own personal residence. So it is no surprise that when she put out her very own coffee table Design book that I wanted it for my collection. SO much of her style has influenced my own design pallet.

Home Body by Joanna Gains is a must for a design lover who wants to be inspired.

Looking for a copy, you can get it here:

The final book I am going to share with you today is one that was gifted to me, and to be honest I need to get my hands on the second one they released as I just know I will love this book as well. It is full of how to's in regards to decorating your space, literally it goes room by room!. It is full of advice and insider secrets and lots of inspiration.

If your thinking why would I buy design books? Well It is a conversation starter with friends, inspiration for when WIFI is acting up or let the books become a part of your decor. Honestly they are such beautiful books that they create a statement within themselves.
